Rebecca Robertson’s ability to create caring, respectful and productive relationships with students is outstanding.
She utilises a wide variety of learning experiences to promote student engagement, understanding and wellbeing. This includes formative testing to determine her students’ prior learning and their learning progress. This data then informs and guides the style, extent and content she prepares for her students. Rebecca provides targeted feedback based on student needs and is eager to review and reflect on teaching strategies and pedagogy to improve her practice. She manages challenging behaviour by establishing clear expectations in the classroom and always ensures student safety in the playground and science labs. |
“Rebecca is actively involved in developing and providing an engaging curriculum. She supports colleagues to plan and implement learning and teaching programs utilising a great understanding of the curriculum,” principal Sharyn Angel said.
