Rebecca Goodes strives to incorporate the pedagogical research she follows into her classroom in an innovative way, resulting in high engagement and achievement among her students.
The Bucasia State School teacher is committed to furthering her own knowledge for the benefit of her young learners. She is currently enrolled in a STEM research course provided by Education Queensland, and has a keen interest in research exploring strategies for moving information from the short-term to the long-term memory. Always considering the needs of each individual student in her class, Rebecca delivers engaging, motivating, and comprehensive lessons time and time again. |
“Rebecca has a strong presence among the student, staff, and parent communities,” Principal Belinda Eckford said. Outside of her own classroom, Rebecca has taken a lead with ICT innovation in the school, leading skill development among her colleagues.
