Melissa Henderson is dedicated to preparing her students to be innovative citizens of the future.
The Coomera Rivers State School teacher is described by her colleagues as being a key leader in creating and delivering digital content. Where possible Melissa encourages students to take control of their own learning, ensuring activities are accessible digitally on iPads, making for truly engaging learning experiences. As an integral member of the digital pedagogies team, Melissa makes creative and future-focused improvements to all areas of teaching and learning across the school. She is constantly in communication with the teaching staff and providing easy access to professional development opportunities to maximise their professional capabilities. |
Melissa presents to staff during weekly Teach Meet sessions and leads Masterclasses for external visitors during the school’s annual Open Days.
