Louise Becker
Bucasia State School
Louise Becker is drawing on her extensive career as an educator to consistently make valuable contributions to the Bucasia State School community and team of teachers.
With a deep appreciation of the fact that all students learn differently, Louise focuses on the learning needs of her students as individuals to ensure each and every child is engaged. Her contributions to the wider school community have been greatly appreciated by her colleagues, whom she regularly assists with moderation activities to ensure assessment standards are consistent across the school. |
“Lou’s programs are well designed based on the Australian Curriculum demands, whole school curriculum plans, and unit plans as well as evidence that is taken from regular diagnostic an formative assessment,” supervisor Rebekkah Pollard said. “She reflects on content, results, and needs to identify the next stage in teaching and learning,” she said.
With a keen interest in continuing her own professional development, Louise ensures that she is always reviewing the latest pedagogical research so that she can provide her students with the post effective learning experiences possible. Louise has also offered her assistance as a mentor for beginning teachers coming through the school, allowing her less experienced colleagues to draw on her twenty years of teaching experience. She maintains excellent relationships with students, colleagues, and parents alike, making her a much loved member of the Bucasia State School community. Congratulations Louise on your nomination.
