Lauren Woodley
Bucasia State School
Lauren Woodley is commended by her colleagues for her ability to build strong relationships amongst the Bucasia State School (BSS) community.
Each day brings something new and exciting in Lauren’s classroom. She delivers specially designed learning experiences that carefully adhere to the needs of her students, who are consistently achieving their individual learning goals. Lauren’s demonstration of her dedication to the teaching profession, and to her students, has led to her nomination for the 2017 Queensland College of Teachers Excellence in Beginning to Teach Award. Despite being in only the second year of her teaching career, Lauren’s knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and her skillset are exceptional. As well as being an involved member of the community, Lauren mentors beginning teachers and is constantly seeking new research information for her own professional development. BSS Principal Belinda Eckford praises Lauren for her teaching practices and professional engagement, and says she is held in high regard. Congratulations Lauren on your nomination. |
