Erin Marr
Calamvale Community College
Erin Marr’s standard of professionalism and dedication well-exceeds what is expected of a teacher in their first year.
Her reflective and mature nature, and her willingness to seek advice and feedback has made her a respected and appreciated member of the Calamvale Community College community. Erin is now in the running to be awarded the 2017 QCT Excellence in Beginning to Teach Award. “Erin is fully committed to the College’s strategic direction and is very receptive to professional learning,” said CCC Deputy Principal Jason Boyd. |
Erin has confidently adapted her classroom to create flexible seating arrangements that encourage learning engagement and allow Erin to track and monitor her students' progress with ease.
She is able to support students with complex needs by utilising feedback from observations and by developing great connections with their parents and carers. CCC Principal Jackie Welch says, “Erin is always looking for opportunities to strengthen her practice.” Congratulations Erin on your nomination. |
