A highly respected and active member of the CCC community, she is known for providing thoughtful, engaging and individual lessons and going “above and beyond” when advocating for her students.
Principal Lisa Starmer says Claire is an exceptional teacher both in her mentoring support and commitment to students with a disability and her artistic capability. “Her use of art to discover meaning and success in students’ lives and her compassion for the challenges that disabilities create makes for an extraordinary teacher,” Lisa says.
